Welcome! My name is Jon Babulic and I love taking pictures of People, Places, & Things. My serious interest in photography began when my wife had an opportunity to write a travel story for a magazine. The client would pay the expenses for a writer and a photographer to visit Britain for one week. My wife is a writer, so I used all myAir-mile points to buy my first DSLR camera. The camera arrived a few days before our departure; I read the instruction manual on the plane  and….”Voilà, I looked like a photographer!” I have been learning and taking pictures ever since.

I studied photography at Georgian College and have completed countless programs in photography and Photoshop online. Recently, one of images was featured on the cover of Ottawa Life Magazine and several others images have been published in  the magazine and online. I am member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Arts (CAPA)

In my professional life I have been the President & CEO of a multimillion dollar corporation and more recently Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Barrie. I have served on several boards including: Chair of the Board of Directors at Royal Victoria Hospital, Laurentian University’s Board of Governors, and the National Quality Institute.

I am an avid fly fisherman and love the outdoors.
